GLOBAL TRENDS IN THE EVOLUTION OF PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS IN HEALTHCARE
Abstract
The modern healthcare system of Ukraine requires the renewal of financial, managerial, and quality control mechanisms. One of the most effective instruments for modernization is public-private partnership (PPP), which combines the potential of the state, private business, and local self-government. The article examines the specific features of forming cooperative relationships between public authorities, private investors, and territorial communities in the context of healthcare infrastructure development. The purpose of the study is to generalize the theoretical and methodological foundations of PPP as a tool for improving management efficiency in the healthcare sector and to substantiate the directions of its further application. The research methodology is based on systemic and institutional approaches, as well as methods of analysis and comparison to identify the advantages of partnership models in healthcare management. The results of the study include the identification of key factors influencing the success of PPP implementation in medical institutions, particularly regulatory, organizational, and financial ones. The practical value of the article lies in the possibility of applying the obtained conclusions by state authorities and municipalities in the process of developing strategies for healthcare modernization and regional development.
